Meet our August Guest Designer...

Samantha Hauzer. I've personally been stalking Sam's blog for a while and always been amazed at how gorgeous her layouts are. This gal has some talent!! I'm so pleased to have her with us as Guest Designer as well as a Sponsor!!
Sam owns and runs Purple Pumpkin Crafts and has generously donated a wonderful prize for us this month!
Here is a little about Sam and her wonderful layout for the August Sketch Challenge.
I'm a single mum of two little rascals. Jack is 9 and Emily is 7. Scrapping is definitely my sanity, and 'me' time, and is a huge part of my life these days. I teach classes at two of my local shops, and have just started a little business of selling handmade embellishments. I discovered scrapping 6 years ago and I still obsessed with it!
I don't really know that I have an actual style, or if I do, I don't know what it would be called. I do like lots of layers, and I love to make my own embellishments. And I love to cut bits and pieces out of the papers too.
My favourite product would have to be patterned paper, as you can do just about everything with it. I ddefinitely take inspiration from it. As soon as I see papers that I love, my mind starts ticking over with ideas, and I usually make my layouts and then find photos to match it. Sometimes I'll even do a layout, and then go and take photos to go on it if I don't have any photos that suit it.
I love to scrap in a 12 x 12 size. It's definitely my comfort zone, although I have done a few layouts in 8.5 x 11 and 6 x 12 too.
